Kenyata Fletcher is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor.  She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree with honors from Chicago State University in Liberal Arts with a Psychology and Substance Abuse concentration in 2006.  She completed her Master’s degree with honors in Community Counseling at Concordia University in River Forest, IL in 2009.  She is currently pursuing post-graduate studies in at Walden University, Minneapolis, MN.  Her practices include treating individuals, couples, and group counseling.

Kenyata has several years of experience providing counseling to teens and adults suffering from addictions.  Kenyata has also provided psychotherapy to teens and adults who struggle with issues such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, HIV/AIDS, sexuality and LGBTQ related issues, stress, adjustment disorders, relationship related issues, and trauma including physical abuse.  She has also conducted mini-workshops on ethics, leadership development, and career development for teens.

Kenyata strives to provide a safe and open environment for sharing while building a genuine rapport.  She believes in meeting the client “where they are” but works to assist clients in achieving their goals using cognitive-behavioral, psychoanalytic, and holistic approaches in therapy.  She is dedicated to improving the quality of ones’ existence by tapping into the most inner being of an individual and helping to restore purpose.
